How Indian raita salad works

Indian raita salad is a recipe made with yogurt, cucumber and onion, garnished with garlic and ginger and gives a very tasty taste alongside biryani and meatballs.

  • Preparation time: 5 minutes
  • Cooking time: 5 minutes
  • Total time: 10 minutes


  • Small can of yogurt (quarter cup)
  • Pinch of salt
  • Teaspoon mint
  • 1 cucumber cut into small pieces
  • Half a small onion, finely chopped
  • Green onion, cut into circles for garnish
  • Garlic and ginger Hamsa (crushed garlic / teaspoon grated ginger / coriander seeds / olive oil )

Method of preparation

  1. Mix yogurt, salt, mint, cucumber and chopped onion together
  2. In a frying pan, fry the garlic and Ginger Zest in olive oil
  3. Pour the yogurt into the serving bowl
  4. Decorate the face with garlic zest and chopped green onions
