Grape jam in the original Syrian style

 Syrian-style grape jam from the cuisine preferred by everyone for breakfast, dinner or as a school sandwich for children there are many types of jam and in the grape season we offer you the recipe of red grape jam tasty, easy and quick to prepare and in a successful way .

  • Cooking time: 50 minutes
  • Total time: 1 hour


  • 1 kg red grapes
  • 1 teaspoon lemon salt
  • 2 cups sugar

Method of preparation

  1. We wash the grapes well and then remove the green sticks from it so that we only have grape kernels .
  2. Put a layer of grapes in a deep saucepan and put on top of it a layer of sugar, then grapes and then sugar until the amount is over and stir gently .
  3. Put the pot in the fridge for the whole night, stirring once or twice during it .
  4. Put the grapes in a deep saucepan over medium heat and gently stir occasionally until the water comes out and boils .
  5. After boiling put the lemon salt, stir well and let it boil over low heat about 40 minutes until the jam gets complicated and becomes heavy .
  6. We leave the jam until it cools slightly and then put it in the refrigerator and when it cools completely serve.
