How to make a crisp squishy cake

Fragile sponge cake is one of the types of cake that need precision during preparation to be soft and fragile and after you try this recipe will always be approved for you and thus enjoy a delicious and irresistible cake .

  • Preparation time: 15 minutes
  • Cooking time: 30 minutes
  • Total time: 45 minutes


  • ½Cup flour
  • 1 tbsp cornflower
  • ½Teaspoon baking powder
  • 4 eggs
  • ½Cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 tbsp liquid milk
  • 1 tablespoon oil

Method of preparation

  1. Sift in a bowl both flour, cornflower and baking powder and set aside .
  2. Put the egg whites in a bowl and beat with an electric whisk until the mixture is light and white .
  3. Gradually add sugar and continue whisking until the mixture is creamy .
  4. Add the egg yolks gradually, whisking after each addition .
  5. Add vanilla, flour mixture, milk and oil and beat the ingredients well .
  6. Put butter paper in the mold, pour the cake mixture into it and level its surface .
  7. Put the cake in the oven at 160 for about 30 minutes until cooked .
  8. We remove the cake from the oven, let it cool and then remove it from the mold and serve as it is or decorate it with cream or chocolate to taste .
