Method of preparation

  1. Put the yolks of four eggs in a bowl, add sugar and stir until well mixed .
  2. Add the milk, oil and vanilla, stir and then sift both flour and cornflower and stir in one direction until the flour disappears .
  3. Put in another bowl the egg whites and beat with an electric whisk until the mixture is white and light .
  4. Gradually add sugar while continuing to whisk, then add a pinch of salt and whisk .
  5. Add the egg whites mixture over the yolks and stir with the spatula in one direction until the ingredients are completely mixed .
  6. Grease the cake mold, sprinkle it with flour, put the mixture in it and then put the mold in the oven tray and put hot water in it .
  7. Put the tray with the mold and water in the oven at 160 for about 50 minutes until the cake is cooked .
  8. We take out the cake, leave it to cool completely, then cut and serve .
