How to make potato salad with mayonnaise

Potato salad with mayonnaise is an old-fashioned salad dish, very nutritious, healthy and perfectly suited for your children, as a hearty lunch, consisting of potatoes, boiled and chopped eggs, with celery, onions, pickles, with mustard, black pepper and mayonnaise.

  • 5 potato kernels
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup celery, chopped
  • Half a cup of onion, chopped
  • Half a glass of sweet pickle
  • A quarter teaspoon of garlic salt
  • A quarter teaspoon of celery salt
  • 1 tablespoon of mustard
  • Black pepper for flavor
  • A quarter cup of mayonnaise

Method of preparation

  1. In a large saucepan, pour salted water and bring to a boil, put the potatoes and let them become soft but still stiff, for about 15 minutes, dry, cool, peel and cut.
  2. Put the eggs in a pan, cover with cold water, bring to a boil, cover, remove from heat, let the eggs in hot water for 10-12 minutes.
  3. In a large bowl, put the potatoes, eggs, celery, onion, pickle, garlic and celery salt, mustard, pepper and mayonnaise, mix well and refrigerate until they freeze
