1 kg pumpkin
3 eggs
1 cup sugar
1 cup vegetable oil
1 cup mashed pumpkin
2 tsp cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon vanilla
1⁄2 nutmeg grated
Sprinkle 1 orange
1 Peking powder envelope
2 cups flour
To prepare the sauce:
3 cups mashed pumpkin
1 cup sugar
Juice of 1 orange
For decorating:
½Cup cream cheese
2 tbsp yogurt
2 teaspoons powdered sugar
1 cup roasted walnuts

Method of preparation

  1. Cut the pumpkin into small pieces, cook it over boiling water steam until soft and mash well .
  2. Put the eggs in a bowl, add the sugar and whisk with an electric whisk until well mixed .
  3. Add oil and a glass of mashed pumpkin and beat well .
  4. Add cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, orange zest, vanilla and baking powder and whisk well, gradually adding flour and continue to whisk until the ingredients are completely mixed .
  5. Put the mixture in the mold and then put in the oven at 180 for 40-45 minutes until cooked .
  6. Halve the pumpkin puree, mix with sugar and orange juice and put in a saucepan over high heat until it boils and becomes thick .
  7. We take out the cake and pierce it hot and pour over it pumpkin and orange sauce and let it cool aside .
  8. Fail cheese cream with powdered sugar and yogurt until creamy .
  9. After the cake has cooled, add the cream layer, decorate with roasted walnuts and serve .
