Ingredients

  • 2 cups coarse semolina
  • 200 g unsalted butter
  • 2 cups Shira (Qatar)
  • 400 g Czech akkawi cheese (sweetened and crumbled )
  • Sweet pistachios for garnish

Method of preparation

  1. Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat.
  2. Add the semolina and stir with butter until golden.
  3. Gradually add the Shira, stirring.
  4. Mash the cheese and stir until the mixture boils.
  5. Pour the sweetness into the serving dish and decorate it with pistachios.
  6. Cinnamon flavor can be added as desired.
