 Turkish bulgur salad

It is a Turkish dish they call Kiser, known that Turkish food is delicious and beloved especially for Arab countries because the food ingredients adopted by the Turks are close to the food ingredients adopted by the Arab countries.Bulgur salad is a different type of salad that does not depend on vegetables .Serve as a cold side dish with grills .

Ingredients of Turkish bulgur salad:

  • A glass of medium-sized white bulgur
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 2 tbsp hot sauce paste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped parsley
  • 1 blunt red pepper finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp sunflower oil
  • 2 finely chopped green onions .
  • Quarter teaspoon powder
  • Salt/ pepper to taste
  • Water cup

How to prepare Turkish bulgur salad:

  1. in a pot over the fire put the sunflower oil and roast the bulgur for two minutes over low heat.
  2. Remove from heat and add a quarter cup of water gradually, stirring .
  3. add tomato paste and Shata paste and continue stirring.
  4. then we add a quarter of the water and continue stirring.
  5. season with a little salt and pepper.
  6. continue stirring with the remaining amount of water.
  7. then add the parsley, onion, red pepper, lemon juice and olive oil.
  8. mix the ingredients together well and serve.
